Chickpea Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 180C
  • Place all the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor or blender, and blend until smooth and thick batter.
  • Pour the batter into a small square or rectangular baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top looks crusty.
