Easy Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 1 sheet 10x10cm puff pastry cut into 6
- 1 large or 2 small red apples sliced
- 6 tbsp golden syrup
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1 chia egg mixed with 1 tsp oil
Instructions
- Spread maple syrup evenly in six spots on a lined baking tray.
- Place sultanas, followed by 4-6 apple slices on each spot. Sprinkle cinnamon powder on the each apple sultana lot.
- Cover the apple mixture with cut puff pastry and press the sides.
- Brush with chia egg mix and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with ice cream or custard or simple by itself.
