I’ve been travelling the last few days. Creating content has been challenging as you don’t have the luxury of the fully equipped kitchen. But I’m realising there’s a merit to that, it makes you think outside the box and be creative! Little becomes more.
Just tells me, we don’t need a lot to have a good life … best things in life are free as they say. Im excited to recruit this realisation for my future content.
I guess this is just a little reminder to anyone who feels the lack of something in life, let the creative forces give you the direction.
2 Minute Chocolate Oats
Ingredients
- 1/3 Banana mashed
- 50 g 1/2 c Quick oats or oat flour
- 1/2 tbsp Sweetener of choice
- 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1/3 tsp Baking powder
- Pinch salt
- 1 heaped tbsp Almond butter
- 80 ml 1/3 c Milk of choice
- Chocolate chips
Protein Option
- Replace 20 g (1/4 cup) oats with 20 g (1/4 cup) protein powder
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, add mashed banana, oats, sweetener of choice, cocoa powder, baking powder, pinch salt, milk and almond butter. Stir to combine and top with chocolate chips.
- Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds. Stop, wait and restart the microwave if the oats flood while cooking. Alternatively, bake the oats in hot oven at 180Cº (350Fº) for 20/25 minutes.
