Creamy Chickpea Hummus with Chilli Chickpeas
Ingredients
Hummus
- 1 ½ cups Cooked chickpeas drained and washed
- ¼ cup Lemon juice 2 lemons
- 1 pc Small garlic pod
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Tahini
- 4 tablespoons Ice cubes
- ½ teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon Extra-virgin olive oil
- Sprinkle of ground sumac or paprika
Chilli Chickpeas
- 1 can Chickpeas drained and washed
- 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Olive oil to drizzle

Hummus
- In a high-powered blender, combine the chickpeas, cumin powder, lemon juice, roasted garlic and salt. Secret to creamy hummus is 2 cubes of ice. Add ice and process until the hummus is smooth and creamy.
Chilli Chickpeas
- Mix everything and roast in frying pan for 5 minutes
