Pickled Onions

Ingredients
2
small red onions
sliced in half moons
2
cloves
garlic

cup
apple cider vinegar
1/2
cup
water

tsp
sea salt
2
tsp
maple syrup
1
tsp
black peppercorns
Instructions
Place sliced onions in a pint jar, pressing down slightly.
Mix rest of ingredients in a bowl and pour over onions.
The pickles will be ready in 2 to 3 hours, but flavors will depend with time.
Store in refrigerator for up to a month. Put on everything.
