Plum Rose Tarts

Servings 8 pcs

Ingredients

  • 4 plums
  • 1/3 cup plum jam
  • 2 sheets 10×10” puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • Powder sugar to sprinkle optional

Instructions

  • Cut plums into halves, then put the cut side down and make thin slices
  • Cut pastry into 2inch strips, about 8inch long.
  • Spread 2 tbsp plum jam along each sheet
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over the jam
  • Lay plum slices, each overlapping the previous along one edge of the pastry.
  • Fold the pastry over the laid plums.
  • Start rolling the pastry from one end till end.
  • Place the plum tart in a patty pan in a muffin tray.
  • Bake the tartelettes at 180C or 350F for 25-30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with powder sugar and serve with icecream or custard or yogurt.
